I love the adventures we have as a family. The holidays, trips to National Trust places, visits to the zoo and hanging out with elves and pixies (we do that, don’t laugh). Sometimes though the days that are best are the simple ones. Where we aren’t in a hurry and we spend time at home, perhaps pop to the playground and then head home for cuddles and a dvd. Saturday was one of those days, we hung out at home all morning, popped to the playground and headed home for a board game.

We had lots of fun. I should point out that my husband took the last one, and that blurry woman pushing the kids on the swing is me.
