Giveaway – Cheekyshoes

I love new shoes. I get so excited when I get a pair that I have been known to fall over in the street because I was watching my new shoes in action rather than looking where I was walking. So I am really excited to be running a competition for Cheekyshoes who sell fabulous, comfortable, funky shoes perfect for busy mums like me.

Cheekyshoes currently offer six colours of their gorgeous shoes. They would like to expand on this range and offer more designs, they want to hear from you before they decide which direction to go in.

The giveaway;

I will be giving away three pairs of Cheekyshoes, that’s right the first three names drawn at the end of the giveaway will receive a pair of these fantastic shoes.

To enter;

To enter the giveaway you need to leave me a comment answering both of the following questions, please be honest as your answer will not affect your running in the giveaway.

1. Would you prefer to buy a pair of shoes designed by a mum in the community or by an anonymous designer? Obviously both would result in the same standard of shoe.

2.Would you be more likely to buy shoes produced in the UK as opposed to a low cost manufactorer e.g. China.

  1. I don’t mind who designs them but I prefer to buy something that has been made in the UK rather than from cheap labour abroad.
    @yyesidolikecake

  2. I would defo be up for buying a pair of shoes made by a Mum in the community and I do tend to buy shoes manufactured in the UK!

  3. Definitely a pair of shoes designed by a mum in the community & ideally produced in the UK.

  4. I’d prefer locally made to mass produced as long as price was reasonable.

    Following both on twitter (ali1471alison)

    Thanks for posting!

  5. Would you prefer to buy a pair of shoes designed by a mum in the community or by an anonymous designer? Obviously both would result in the same standard of shoe. – mum in the community – more likely to know what mums need.

    2.Would you be more likely to buy shoes produced in the UK as opposed to a low cost manufactorer e.g. China. – UK

  6. 1. Would you prefer to buy a pair of shoes designed by a mum in the community or by an anonymous designer? Obviously both would result in the same standard of shoe.

    To be honest my main concern would be the style but if the same style were offered by a local or anonymous designer I would try to support local.

    2.Would you be more likely to buy shoes produced in the UK as opposed to a low cost manufactorer e.g. China.

    As long as the price wasn’t too high I would definitely prefer UK

  7. If I had the opportunity I would prefer the designer to be local and the manufacturer to be British.

  8. 1 – prefer to buy shoes designed by a mum in the community
    2 – prefer to be made in uk :)
    @emmav6

  9. I don’t mind who designs my shoes, if i like them i like them regardless, but I would much prefer UK made shoes.

  10. i like good quality, well designed shoes, by people who know what we are looking for

    @sarahrees151286

  11. I would prefer something designed locally in the UK but the price would have to be right too as I am trying not to spend too much on shoes….

  12. Definitely by a mum in the community and definitely in the UK.. i’ve liked on Facebook and shared too!

  13. I personally would rather the shoes be designed by another Mum in my local community who would have other Mum’s needs in mind and understand the lives we live and what we need in a shoe.
    I would prefer them to made in the UK as I feel its important we support home grown talent and design where ever possible.

  14. Liked & liked both Purplemum and Cheekyshoes on Facebook and Twitter. :-)
    Great prize

  15. I would like the designed locally, I am not so fussed where they are made… contriversal… as long as the conditions were fair and workers paid an honest wage.

    • I would love to buy shoes made in the uk but unfortunately my budget doesn’t often stretch to it

  16. A mum would do a much better job of designing as she at least knows how a child grows, and then produce them in the uk

  17. 1. Would you prefer to buy a pair of shoes designed by a mum in the community or by an anonymous designer? Obviously both would result in the same standard of shoe.

    I would have to see the final product to decide. I think price would be the main issue these days.

  18. 2.Would you be more likely to buy shoes produced in the UK as opposed to a low cost manufactorer e.g. China.

    No.

  19. I would rather buy shoes designed by a mum in the community and made in the UK. Love the green ones!

  20. I would prefer to buy from a local mum and from the UK you have to support local products otherwise who else will x

  21. I really don’t mind who designs them as long as the quality is high but I would prefer them made in UK, keep business in Britain and cut the carbon footprint

  22. 1. Definitely a mum in the community so long as the shoe fitted properly and was durable.

    2. I would prefer to buy shoes that are manufactured in the UK but unfortunately at the moment economics mean that I cannot afford to pay more for something manufactured in the uk.

    The shoes in the pic look good and my little girl thinks that thye are lovely (Being pink is always an advantage in her book!)

  23. I have to admit I’m not really bothered whether shoes are designed by a local mum or anonymous, as long as they do the job!
    Produced in the uk i guess would be a plus point though yes. I dont mind china etc as long as they are made in factories with decent working conditions not expoitation

  24. I’d always prefer to buy from within my community and UK made, regardless of the product

  25. Forgot to answer the other question! A local Mum would be a plus, but as long as the design was good enough I wouldn’t mind an anonymous designer.

  26. Following Cheekyshoes on Twitter.
    Following Purpleella on Twitter.
    Have tweeted comp info – my twitter id is @Emstargally

    Unable to complete the facebook requests as only on twitter

  27. I have never thought about shoe designers before but I suppose if I knew a local designer then I would choose them.I am far more likely to buy from UK produced shoes than from abroad.

  28. 1. Would you prefer to buy a pair of shoes designed by a mum in the community or by an anonymous designer? It honestly wouldn’t make a difference, as long as they are practical and comfy the designer doesn’t matter.

    2.Would you be more likely to buy shoes produced in the UK as opposed to a low cost manufacturer e.g. China. I prefer them to be made here, knowing what happens in low cost manufacturers makes it hard to justify the low cost!

  29. i would prefer to buy shoes designed by a professional designer but made in the uk

  30. Unfortunately, although I’d like to say a mum in the community & made in the UK, it has to come down to cost for me so I’d always pick the cheaper option!

  31. An anonymous designer is my preference & I am happy to buy cheaper from China, but at the same time I like to support locally made items & pay a bit more occasionally

  32. Price and quality would be my only concern. Whether the shoes were designed locally or in the UK, my purse has very little left in it after everyone else has taken out of it, so price is always an issue. For the right price I would love to try local products, but they can sometimes be pricey. Hope you don’t mind my honesty xx

  33. I would prefer the shoes to be designed by a mum in the community and made here in the UK too. Unfortunately the cost implications of this usually put them outsdie my price range.

  34. I would prefer shoes made by a local Mum in the community, but if shoes were designed by a local ‘non Mum’ designer too, that would be fine by me. Definitely prefer for my shoes to be made in the UK though ….

  35. I would love a pair of shoes designed by a mum and an anonymous designer that would be great to have both! And I would love them to be made in the UK.

  36. I’m not sure the designer would make a difference – if they look good and feel great then I’ll buy them. If both pairs are affordable I’d always rather buy from the UK

  37. Definitely a pair of shoes designed by a mum in the community if the style/fit & price were good – and ideally produced in the UK

  38. 1. If someone was talented enough to make/design shoes of great quality, i would be happy to buy them. So, if that’s a mum in the community – i’m happy!
    2. I would prefer that the shoes were made in the UK.

  39. I would always prefer a local designer in my community and would always choose a UK manufacturer over one from abroad – even if this meant the cost was higher.

  40. Difficult question to answer, if they were exactly the same shoe then probably by a mum in the community.

    Ideally produced in the UK

  41. doesnt really matter who designed the shoes but i would prefer that they were produced in the uk

  42. Whilst both maybe the same quality the local designed ones would be made with more care and thought and i would be supportting who made them directly

  43. Would prefer shoe made in UK but want the best designer, mum or not makes no difference

  44. Hi, I’d prefer shoes designed by a mum, ’cause she would be more likely to keep them practical and low-heeled than a designer, lots of whom seem to forget we need to be able to walk, let alone run after small children! I always buy British-produced whenever I can, so this would be the same here. I am loving these Cheekyshoes – they are just so vibrant! Vohn x

  45. I would love to buy shoes designed by local mum with a lot of expertise and of course made in England.

  46. Even though I like designer products I would prefer to support a mother in her career.

  47. I would buy either as it would depend on the comfort & style that would impact on my decision on who/where I buy from.

  48. Ideally I’d prefer to buy a pair of shoes designed by a mum in the community and produced in the UK but realistically, as I don;t know any mums in the community who make shoes, and I rarely look at the manufacturing country on goods, then I probably buy anonymous and from miles away!
