A Sunny Sunday At Tyntesfield

Living in the city is brilliant, but sometimes I feel a little hemmed in. Without sounding horribly hippy my soul needs some green spaces, open skies and a space to run. My children need time without so many rules, and freedom to explore.

We are so fortunate that in Bristol there are many lovely places to escape to locally, some have become regular haunts but there are still some places that we haven’t visited. Last weekend we got out our National Trust membership cards and headed for one such place, Tyntesfield, It was wonderful.

Wonder Girl walked far further than she ever gets the chance to in the city.

Super Kid kicked leaves.

Super Kid and Robo Boy explored, and ran, and explored some more.

I was even captured running.

It was a blissful, perfect day, I was reminded why I love my family and my life.

    • Yes it’s really great for children to get the chance to be free, helps them behave better when they have to live with the usual rules.
