I review all sorts on my blog and it’s always a treat when I get to review something indulgent,something for me. So when I was asked if I would like to pick an item from online clothes store Joe Browns I was thrilled. Joe Browns sell men and women’s clothing and accessories as well as experience type gifts such as race car driving and spa days.

A browse of the site revealed a line that is funky and also functional with classics like jeans, vests and t-shirts mixed in with some real individual pieces like this wonderful coat. I decided upon a tunic as I am practically living in tunics at the moment. They are practical, versatile, hide a multitude of sins and brighten up my mum uniform.

I chose this rather fabulous owl tunic. I was a little unsure as owls are possibly a little overdone these days. However the owls are fairly subtle, not too cutesy and heck I like owls so whatever.

Hope you are all loving me working the camera, I possibly won’t be giving up the day job. Anyway I hope you will agree the tunic looks fab, I wore it to my sons birthday party this weekend and got lots of compliments. The fabric feels reasonable quality for the price of the garment (a bargain £29.95), hangs and washes well.

I also ordered a pair of cashmere socks which are divine. They are soft and cozy and perfect for snuggling into winter boots.

I would recommend Joe Browns as a great place for affordable, practical but unique clothing.
